Five custom wooden X wicks are assembled and secured in metal clips. Various thicknesses of the wicks are used to to account for the width of the candle and they are secured using wick stickers.

If the candle is a custom order and scent is requested, the wax will be heated to 185 degrees. After the wax is cooled to 135 degrees it is ready to pour into the wooden silhouette.

After the wax has taken a solid form, the wicks are cut down to approximately 1/8 to 1/4 inch from the top of the wax. The candle is then dressed with raffia ribbon and boxed for sale. The finished candle is 21 oz.
